About
Cocotte et Coquette
Hello I am Amandine, I was born in the Gers, where nearly all my family resides.
After a degree in applied arts, I wanted to be an interior designer but I soon realized that speaking English would be of an advantage, so, I decided to go and spend some time in Ireland. As life is made up of opportunities, I didn’t stick to one job but worked in different fields. I also spent some time travelling, so I got to know myself better, and more importantly what makes me tick.
Almost 5 years ago, I decorated and staged one of my best friends’ wedding. I can honestly say that I have always been passionate about decorating and embellishing.
A few months later the idea of creating Cocotte et Coquette was whispered to me ...
‘Vintage’ hunting has always been exciting and I feel blessed that it is now part of what I do.
Vintage furniture and decor have a history, that I am passionate about.
And the idea of giving a second, third or umpteenth life to these objects makes me happy.
However, because we endeavor to make your event a unique experience, we do stock new items too.
My mission is to inspire, listen and support each one of my clients throughout their style journey – whether that be for their dream wedding or that important celebration or event. I offer a bespoke design service which tailors a plan to best suit your vision which means each design is unique.

Today, more than ever, promoting eco-responsible events is my way of committing myself to the future ...
One day, says the legend, there was a huge forest fire. All the terrified and aghast animals watched helplessly the disaster. Only the small hummingbird activates, fetching a few drops of water in its beak to throw them on the fire. After a while, the armadillo, annoyed by his derisory actions, said to him: Hummingbird! Aren’t you crazy ? Do you think that it is with these drops of water that you will extinguish the fire? I know, replies the hummingbird, but I'm doing my part!
